The Farmers Market on Saturdays is awesome! Beautiful views of the Patuxent. The annual Riverside WineFest is a must-go event. A gem in the heart of historic Southern Maryland.

There are many places to view the life of those that lived at Sotterley and it is a good way to learn about plantation life from the point of view of the owners and the slaves without it being abstract because you can learn about specific people that experienced it
