The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing and well-made. The lighting, furnishings and adornments were comfortable.
This has been you third chance,not just an "OFF" day.

Great steak in a great city! Sat at the bar to eat and have a drink. Bartender, Keith, was very attentive and helpful with menu selections. His place felt familiar although it was my first time. It certainly won't be my last.
Our server Wyatt was awesome. Make sure you ask for him he is very accommodating. Food was good but no crabs again. No matter what if you really want high class service ask for Wyatt he understands and only recommends great beers and food.
The bathrooms were moderately clean but poorly maintained, and the door was haphazardly marked and would not close.
We did enjoy the view, but there are lots of places here in this county and on the other side.that are just as nice. I cannot believe you are still in business.!!!
everything we ordered, was under cooked, or way not what we want to be proud of as far as sea food. and there were no other choices, Poor waiter, said no on other choices. (no on the reuben , etc,etc.)
Our food was served lukewarm, and took a long time to arrive. The menu offered a side dish which we ordered but were subsequently - ten minutes later - informed is no longer offered at all.
But how dare you brag you are STONEY's , my daughter took me out for lunch,
P.S. on top of food she actually paid for we brought home food for someone stuck at home, crab balls, undercooked , and crab soup that tasted like someone took a can of veg. soup, added some ketchup and a teeny bit of crab meat . I am so embarrassed.
Waiter did his best. Food very poor. Long wait after ordering. Entrees served without sides. Food was substandard. Golden Corral does better. Plate of food dropped during. Vegetables were never cleaned up before we left. Old restaurant trading under new name associated with established local chain. Will not go again, regardless of event.
Negatives:
Due to the menu issue with the side dish we ordered our server waived the upcharge we would normally have incurred for choosing an out-of-combo side to substitute.
The crew were extremely friendly and courteous. Despite the hostess not being at the door when we arrived the nearest crewman welcomed us and invited us to choose our own seats. Because it was a very cold evening a server showed us the warmest part of the restaurant, which we appreciated. After we were seated the hostess made a point of checking on us several times.
Overall I would certainly go back: I suspect the negatives of this experience were an anomaly as it certainly does not fit the pattern to which I am accustomed for Stoney's.
As a Calvert County native I've been to the various Stoney's locations many times and thoroughly enjoyed them, but this time they came in a little sub-par.
