If you ever need to speak to someone during business hours to ask questions or make a payment this is not the place to come. I have left 2 voicemails and made 5 phones calls since last Monday, no call back yet. Very Frustraing when you need something out of your storage ASAP.
A a business professional I use this storage facility on a continual basis. I am in and out of the facility weekly. I have had nothing but an outstanding experience. The manager has bent over backwards to accommodate my changing needs and short deadlines. I feel safe at my unit and I feel like, if ever a problem should arise, it would be taken care of immediately.
What a great place! Darlene was a pleasure to work with. It was so easy renting a unit, the place is well maintained and very secure.
John at Security Storage was absolutely professional and very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to accommodate my situation. I will definitely use his company in the future.
Our family has never before or since met someone who is clearly, sincerely insane, but the manager of this storage property obviously is just that. We rented a small interior unit there last Summer after being transferred to Patuxent River NAS. Being veterans and DoD contractors (not Navy) we expected no "local prejudice". However, after moving everything we owned into this facility while waiting for our house to close, the manager of this building then began to threaten us with arrest for remaining on "his" property more than 10 minutes at any one time! We tried to explain, calmly, rationally, we are not illegal immigrants, not criminals, not "vandals", simply attempting to sort through our possessions while moving, but this lunatic began to degenerate into daily shouting matches. We finally talked to the local Sheriff's Department and County Prosecutors office, which told us what he said was ridiculous, and also managed to directly contact the actual business owner, who apparently forced him to cease and desist bothering our family. Please be advised, while this storage lot LOOKS quite clean and secure, the manager is a certified psychopath, and will make your every trip to your own belongings a horrible 10 minute nightmare. And yes, this is well-known in the area. There are other, better storage places in the region, if somewhat further away and slightly more expensive. it's worth the extra $5 in gas and $10 per month not to have to deal with this maniac.
