My 7 year old Lab/Shepard mix has spent several months at Chessie Resort. A full month, multiple weeks and weekends. Once we get on Jones Wharf Road, she starts whining, wagging her tail and acting excited. She only does this when she's returning home, visiting relatives, or going to the park or the woods.
Kind of a long walk to the beach but the beach area is large and not usually crowded
